Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer or mobile device by a website when you visit that site. It is stored on your computer or mobile device in a file in your browser. It contains information such as the visitor’s preferred language, so that they do not have to fill in this information again when returning to the same website. Identification during the visit to the site is possible through unique code contained in the cookie.

Cookies can be placed by the server of the website you are visiting or by partners who collaborate with that website. A website’s server can only read the cookies that it has placed and does not have access to any other information that is on your computer or mobile device. The cookie usually contains the name of the server that placed the cookie, the expiry date, and the unique numerical code.

Which cookies are used?

  • Functional cookies: This refers to cookies that are necessary for our website to function. This is mainly to save your login data: IP address, pages visited, browser used, sites previously visited, geographical data such as location, language preference, time, length of a visit to the site, etc.
  • Third-party cookies (analytical cookies): We use Google Analytics to collect statistical data (information to evaluate and improve the content of our website). ’Third Party’ cookies may be set as a result of third-party content being placed on our website (e.g., films).

Why do we use cookies?

CONCRIT SRL uses cookies to ensure the website functions correctly and to identify users. To be able to use the applications (applying for a vacancy, login) cookies must be accepted. ‘Third Party’ cookies set by Google Analytics are for statistical purposes. This information is used to improve services and online portals. Generally speaking, cookies do not constitute a risk for your computer as they are text files, not software.

If you wish to block cookies, you can do so through your browser settings.

In this case, please be aware that some graphical elements may not be displayed correctly, and you may not be able to use certain applications if you disable cookies.

Duration of processing

Personal data is stored and processed by us for the period of time necessary for the purposes of the processing and the relationship (contractual or otherwise) between us.

CONCRIT SRL will not keep this data any longer than necessary for its own operation.

Access and transfer of personal data

For the purpose of processing your personal data, our employees, collaborators, and agents are granted access to this data. They are required to treat the data confidentially and may only use the data for the purposes for which it was provided.

CONCRIT SRL may share your data with third parties to carry out certain processing operations, including IT providers, accountants, auditors, cloud providers, social secretariat, and public services (e.g., in the case of public procurement, social inspectorate, etc.).

Your data will not be communicated to recipients outside the European Union.

The employees, managers and/or representatives of the aforementioned service providers or institutions, and the specialised service providers appointed by them, must respect the confidential nature of your personal data, and may only use this data for the purposes for which it was provided.

If necessary, personal data may be passed on to other third parties. This may occur in the event of a partial or full reorganisation on our part, if our activities are transferred, or if we are declared bankrupt. Personal data may also need to be transferred due to a court order or to comply with a particular legal obligation. In this case, we will make every effort to inform you in advance. You acknowledge and understand, however, that under certain circumstances this may not always be technically or commercially feasible, or that legal limitations may apply.

Under no circumstances will we sell your personal data, make it available to direct marketing agencies or similar service providers, except with your prior consent.

Security

Your personal data is processed in a confidential manner. CONCRIT SRL will endeavour to take the necessary technical and organisational precautions to process the data at a sufficiently high level of security and to protect the personal data against destruction, loss, falsification, unauthorised access, or erroneous notification to third parties, and against unauthorised processing of the data, through the use of firewalls, secure servers, back-ups, etc., and a security policy with regard to its employees (access limitations and procedures).

The data you provide to us via this website is not stored on the internet but may be stored on our servers. You acknowledge and accept that sending personal data via the internet is never risk-free and that, consequently, any direct or indirect damage you may suffer through the illegal use of your data by third parties cannot be passed on to CONCRIT SRL.

Your rights: right of access, rectification, and information, right to be forgotten, right to data portability, right to object

In accordance with and under the conditions of Belgian data protection legislation and the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, we inform you that you have a legal right to request access to data concerning you, and processed by CONCRIT SRL, free of charge in order to check, rectify or complete it.

You also have a right to be forgotten in the cases provided for by the General Data Protection Regulation (right to deletion and restriction of processing). We may refuse to erase or restrict data if it is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation, execute an employment or other contract or for our legitimate interest, provided that the data is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. In the event of a dispute regarding the processing of your personal data, you may request that the processing of your personal data be restricted until the dispute has been settled.

Finally, you have the right to data portability: you have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and computer-readable format. You have the right to transfer this data to another processor.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on serious and legitimate grounds. However, you cannot object to the processing of data that is necessary for us to carry out a legal obligation or to fulfil a contract. You always have the right to object to your data being processed for marketing purposes or for profiling in connection with such marketing based on your personal data. You also have the right to object to the transfer of your data to third parties for the same marketing purposes.

If personal data processing is based on prior consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent. This personal data will then only be processed if we have another legal basis. You can exercise the rights mentioned above by sending an e-mail to info@concrit.net or by post to rue de Campine 70, 4000 Liège, Belgium. CONCRIT SRL cannot treat your request without proof of your identity.

We make every effort to ensure that we process your personal data diligently and in a legitimate manner, in accordance with the applicable regulations. However, if you feel that your rights have not been upheld and that your concerns have not been addressed by our company, you are free to register a complaint with the competent supervisory body: the Privacy Protection Commission: commission@privacycommission.be, National Commission for Data Protection, Complaints Department.

You can also take legal action if you believe that you have suffered harm as a result of the processing of your personal data.
